The absolute worst employment agency I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. The year before I got blackballed by the light-industrial supervisor Sarah because I wouldn't work their night shifts, which I found quite hypocritical in that their office is only open from 8a-5p and none of their office staff works nights.

Then this year I was lied to and mislead concerning the sugar-beet harvest for American Crystal Sugar. I was the first to register the second day they were taking applicants for this; I waited over a month for the harvest to begin; and by the 4th day of the harvest I still hadn't gotten a call. See, the harvest only lasts 2-3 weeks, so every day you're not working you're losing money. And we were lead to believe that we'd be starting the day the harvest began -- a blatant lie.

Then when you call the office up and see what the deal is, you're treated rudely and told "you just need to wait for the call." What call!? Then when you complain to headquarters over this ill-treatment, the managing partner of the Grand Forks office, Scott G. Lindgren, has his staff blackball you for the harvest and any other assignments. Luckily, I found harvest work elsewhere, and so did several others I know who were mistreated; so kindly spread the word that this office is not to be trusted regarding the sugarbeet harvest.

Oh, and they play favorites -- people who registered well after I did and didn't attend the 2-hour "mandatory" training were called to work the very first day. And one man even managed to get his daughter assigned not only to the same, most-requested work site (East Grand Forks) as him, but even to the exact same piling station, even though she registered after the harvest had already begun!

A thoroughly dishonest agency and a real disgrace of an unpatriotic businessman in Scott G. Lindgren.

Monetary Loss: $3000.

Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota

You seem like a very bitter man. Maybe there is a reason you weren't hired....they don't have to give you a job.
